Mindful Music Making ~ Impressions from our Retreat in southern France

"The most amazing days with the most amazing souls! In these 5 days of retreat, I took the first steps to establish a fresh relationship with myself and with my violin, I found the questions which I need to ask myself in order to overcome my fears and to play more free, and I understood the power of communication and curiosity.

I, as a very shy person, could dance in front of people for the first time in my life, and I did enjoyed it very much :) I enjoyed sharing our experiences with each other, also enjoyed a lot having morning meditations with Alina, and the most valuable hours which I had privately with Alina, Susanne and Leonie.

Weeks after retreat, I still have the peace which I gain from there, and it spreads by itself to all my family and friends. I am so thankful to everyone in the retreat who made me realize this peaceful state of being, which allows me to see things wider and which encourages me to take new steps in my life. I believe, we as musicians, who need to develop a creative and free mind under the enourmous pressure of the daily life itself, this retreat is the greatest gift that we can give to ourselves."

"For me Mindful Music Making had been a deep moment of connection. Between me and all the participants, with a magic, open heart atmosphere. And between me and the inner part of myself, facing many fears and gaining awareness about what i could need on my personal way, exploring my human being and who i am, as a person and as a musician.

I suggest this experience for everyone that feel is time to explore a different approach to our daily life, wanting to face inner struggles for feel more grounded, aware of who we are."
